The Official Casting Call & Director Competition Finalists

Welcome to the final round of voting in the “LiveMansion: the Movie” Casting Call & Director competitions.

It is now up to the LiveMansion community to decide who should get cast in each role and which director candidate should helm the project.

To view the videos and vote for each role in the Casting Call click on the link above the candidates or on any of the candidate’s head shots to take you to the voting page for that role. Once you are on the voting page click on the tabs underneath each of the three candidates to view their different videos. The four videos you can watch are:

  • Group Vid – When all the actors & actresses came to NYC for the finals they were divided into three groups and were filmed performing the audition scenes.
  • ISO Vid – The camera is focused solely on the specific candidate's audition performance.
  • Panel Reaction – John Leguizamo, Cara Buono, & Al Palagonia joined LiveMansion.com at a special screening at Pressure in NYC to judge the finalist’s performances.   
  • Interview – Learn a little more about the finalist.

Once you have watched all the videos and made your choice select “Yes” for the candidate you feel is best for that specific role and then click “Place My Vote”. Once you submit your vote you will be taken back to the landing page where you can move on to the next role. Please keep in mind that you can only select “Yes” for one candidate per role so make your choices good ones.

Once you are on the voting page click on the tabs underneath each of the three candidates to view their different videos. The three videos you can watch are:

  • Short Film – Each finalist was provided with the same script and a $1,000 budget to film their submission.
  • Panel Reaction – Acclaimed director Spike Lee joined LiveMansion.com at Tribeca Cinemas for a special screening and judged the finalist’s shorts.
  • Interview – Learn a little more about the finalistOnce you have watched all the videos and made your choice select “Yes” for the candidate you feel should direct “LiveMansion: the Movie” and then click “Place My Vote”. Please keep in mind that you can only select “Yes” for one candidate so make your choice a good one.

Every time you vote in the final round you will receive FIVE “Producer Points”.

Finalists for Jack »
At first glance Jack is one of those all American type guys - and in a lot of ways he is. Jack is good enough in sports to get a free ride in college, OK in school, and popular amongst the right people. Jack is a relaxed guy and isn’t quick to overreact to situations. He’s the kind of guy that isn’t afraid to fight, he just doesn’t want to if he can help it. Deep down Jack is ambitious, while at the same time being a sometimes slacker. He isn’t sure where he is going with his life, even though it seems to be going on its own.

Finalists for Envin »
Envin’s father was a technology pioneer and upon his death, Envin became the sole heir of an enormous fortune. Envin’s entire family was killed in an accident the summer after his junior year in high school. Envin was the only survivor. At the time of the accident, Envin and Jack were close friends, but over time a depressed and troubled Envin began to withdraw. By the middle of his senior year, Envin officially became a shut-in. He dropped out of high school and stopped leaving the enormous mansion he inherited from his father. Envin, like his father, has a genius level intelligence.

Finalists for Clyde »
Clyde is a party and club promoter and good at what he does. He is a handsome, charismatic guy, in great shape and very good with people. Partying is his business and he takes it very seriously. He pushes his staff hard and wants to throw parties that people will talk about for years. Always the entrepreneur, Clyde is forever searching for ways to get more money out of his endeavors. Not opposed to getting rough if it serves his purposes.

Derek is Clyde’s adopted little brother and is always nipping at his heels. Being Clyde’s right hand man of sorts, Derek considers himself a big deal. Overconfident with a big mouth, Derek likes to be the center of attention. His misplaced ego can cause some pretty humorous situations.

Rebecca is a beautiful girl, but not one to flaunt it. She doesn’t assume she can go places in life simply because she looks good. Although lady-like, she isn’t afraid to get physical and dirty if necessary. A good athlete and intellectually gifted, she excels in school and goes to a top college.

a true scoundrel of a woman, Mee-gan is quick witted and fast-talking. She is full of confidence and likes to take control of situations. Meagan’s biggest weapon is her mouth, which moves so fast and deftly that she can shove her opinion down most anyone’s throat, overpowering them. She likes to enjoy herself and always has to be part of the “in” crowd.

Five Directors Compete To Helm First Film Produced By Social Network

New York, NY – Ckrush Entertainment, Inc., a subsidiary of Ckrush, Inc., announced that acclaimed film director Spike Lee will serve as a judge in the final round of competition to select a director from among five finalists to helm LIVEMANSION: THE MOVIE. The first film produced by a social network, LIVEMANSION is a thriller set in a mega-mansion.

John Leguizamo and Cara Buono set to judge actors for Live Mansion:
The Movie 24 Actors Compete To Star in Film Produced By Social Network

New York, NY – Ckrush Entertainment, Inc., a subsidiary of Ckrush, Inc., announced today that John Leguizamo, Michael Rapaport, and Cara Buono will be the judges for the final round of competition to select the eight lead actors to star in LIVE MANSION: THE MOVIE.  The first film produced by a social network, LIVE MANSION: THE MOVIE is a thriller.
“We are excited to have three actors as talented as John, Michael, and Cara on board to help LiveMansion select the best possible cast for this film” said Jeremy Dallow, President of Ckrush.  “Their participation in casting LIVE MANSION: THE MOVIE is not only exciting for us, but for the entire community at Livemansion.com.  We plan to continue to bring unique opportunities to our members to interact with each other and professionals in the film industry.”
There are eight lead roles that are being cast in LIVE MANSION: THE MOVIE.  Each role is down to three finalists from a field of 1000 entries.  The finalists were flown to NY last week for screen tests.  The audition tapes will be critiqued by the panel of judges in front of a live audience in New York City on March 19, 2007.  The audition tapes will then be posted with the panel’s comments on LiveMansion.com for the community’s members to vote on and decide who gets cast.
“When I was asked to participate in this event, I thought it would be a great opportunity to help actors that are trying to make it in this industry.  LiveMansion is a unique platform for actors to show their talent,” said Leguizamo.
Since its launch last summer, LiveMansion.com has grown to over 100,000 members and over 600,000 votes were cast during the first three rounds of the director competition and casting call.  Last week Spike Lee helped judge shorts from the five director finalists.  You can see his comments and vote for your favorite director beginning March 26th on livemansion.com.

All members of the community earn “producer points” for each vote they cast during the talent search and director competition. Those who participate the most will be brought to the set and will earn equity in the film among other benefits. 

The eight lead characters are Jack, Envin, Clyde, Dereck, Rebecca, Mee-gan, Janelle, and Sabrina.  The actor finalists were flown in from all over the country to audition for these lead roles.  The finalists are: Damien Maffei (Levittown, NY), Jason Henry (Pheonixville, PA), Jim Faulkner (NY, NY), Alex Haney (NY, NY), Jesse Kozel (Bradenton, FL), Thomas “Keelen” Monahan (Keansburg, NJ), Joseph Pacillo (Parsippany, NJ), Steven DiGennaro (Staten Island, NY), David Oliver (East Hartford, CT), Luigi Valentino (Omaha, NE), Steve Lee (Gaithersburg, MD), Kevin Kolack (NY,NY), Julie Wions (Hillsborough, NJ), Bethany Paxson (Philadelphia, PA), Kristy Phillips (NY, NY), Mia Denali (NY, NY), Hannah Fierman (Atlanta, GA), Ceclilia Frontero (NY, NY), Samantha Facchi (NY, NY), Emily Deal (Greensboro, NC), LaMyra Kinzer (Winston Salem, NC), Nina Kate Hauptman (Los Angeles, CA), Sylvianne Chebance (NY, NY), and Melissa Roth (Brooklyn, NY).

LIVE MANSION: THE MOVIE will begin production this summer.

Leguizamo is a Golden Globe nominated actor whose credits include MOULIN ROUGE!, ASSAULT ON PRECINT 13, and ICE AGE 1 & 2.

Rapaport’s previous credits include BEAUTIFUL GIRLS, BAMBOOZLED, and HITCH.

Buono’s previous credits include CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, THIRD WATCH, and THE SOPRANOS.
